Thinking‘.
This year’s Asia Pacific Week
Conference returns for its sixth year to explore the theme ‘Forward Thinking’
to examine what the future holds for the Asia Pacific region. In a time dubbed
as the ‘Asian Century’, the rapid pace in which the region has transformed is
also dogged by rising threats and challenges that affect the development and
progress of the region. Are there patterns of continuity that may be drawn from
an examination of the past? How do we seek to manage unprecedented challenges
such as Climate Change?
The complexities of these questions
demand all hands on deck and that innovative approaches are born.
For this reason, this year we invite
delegates from all over the world who are passionate about the Asia Pacific and
future leaders in the region, to engage in a dialogue about the path ahead.
Distinguished academics, high-ranking diplomats and policymakers in these
discussions will join them.
Eligibility: Delegates must be a current student at a university.
Benefits:
Delegates will have the opportunity
to form global networks with other international delegates, leading academics
and high-ranking officials. They will be provided full access to highly
interactive and thought provoking panels, free accommodation and all meals
throughout the week. There is no conference fee.
